Japan is a highly developed capitalist country and the third largest economy in the world. It is resource-poor and extremely dependent on imports, and its highly developed manufacturing industry is the main pillar of its national economy. Its scientific research and development capacity is very strong, with a large number of multinational companies and scientific research institutions, the annual scientific research funding accounts for about 3.1% of the national GDP, which ranks first in the developed countries. In 2017, XINSIWEI officially started data collection and industry research business in Japan, and completed a Japanese handwritten language collection project with more than 150 samples.
